The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The holders were responsible for the security of the border between the two nations, and often took part in military action.
- They were also responsible, along with Conservators of the Truce, for administering the special type of border law known as March law.
- The Marches on both sides of the border were traditionally split into West, Middle, and East, each with their own warden answerable to the Lord Warden-general.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Lord Warden of the Marches article was read about 11,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 59 and blocks with 26: each hit it takes is cut by 10 %.
