The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- At its greatest extent, it was the largest lake in West Asia.
- It was once the sixth-largest saltwater lake on Earth, with a surface area of approximately 6,000 km2, a length of 140 km, a width of 70 km, and a maximum depth of 20 m.
- By late 2017, the lake had shrunk to 10% of its former size due to persistent general drought in Iran, but also the damming of the rivers that flow into it, and the pumping of groundwater from the surrounding area.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Lake Urmia article was read about 87,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 73 and blocks with 87: each hit it takes is cut by 35 %.
