The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The empire was sustained by the prosperous trans-Saharan trade and was one of the oldest and longest-lived empires in world history and especially in African history.
- The early history of the Kanem–Bornu Empire is poorly known.
- The empire is believed to have been founded around the year 700, though later and earlier dates have also been proposed.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Kanem–Bornu Empire article was read about 120,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 84 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
