The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It commemorates the Malayan Declaration of Independence of 31 August 1957, and is defined in article 160 of the Constitution of Malaysia.
- The day is marked by official and unofficial ceremonies and observances across the country.
- The observation of 31 August as Malaysia's national day is the cause of some controversy, especially among East Malaysians, with calls to prioritise the celebration of Malaysia Day on 16 September instead.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Independence Day article was read about 63,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 71 and blocks with 67: each hit it takes is cut by 27 %.
