The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- By doing this, the delegates to the Second Continental Congress declared that the Thirteen Colonies were no longer subject to the monarch of Britain, King George III, and were now united, free, and independent states.
- The Congress voted to approve independence by passing the Lee Resolution on July 2 and adopted the Declaration of Independence two days later, on July 4.
- Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, political speeches, and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Independence Day article was read about 750,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 75 and blocks with 74: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
