The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- During his career, he played for the New York Highlanders, Chicago White Sox, Buffalo Blues, Cincinnati Reds, and New York Giants.
- Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson named Chase the best first baseman ever, and contemporary reports described his fielding as outstanding.
- He is sometimes considered the first true star of the franchise that would eventually become the New York Yankees.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Hal Chase article was read about 20,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 69 and blocks with 56: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
