The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is one of the so-called fantastical Dietrich poems, so called because it more closely resembles a courtly romance than a heroic epic.
- The poem concerns Dietrich's fight with the dwarf king Goldemar after he sees the dwarf absconding with a princess.
- It is the only poem in the tradition of Germanic heroic poetry with a named author that is accepted as genuine.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Goldemar article was read about 730 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 56 and blocks with 43: each hit it takes is cut by 17 %.
