The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- A highly skilled and aggressive batsman, a versatile bowler and an excellent fielder, he is widely considered to be cricket's greatest ever all-rounder and one of the greatest cricketers of all time.
- Born in Bridgetown, Barbados, Sobers made his first-class debut for the Barbados cricket team at the age of 16 in 1953, and his Test debut for the West Indies the following year.
- Originally playing mainly as a bowler, he was soon promoted up the batting order.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Garfield Sobers article was read about 500,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 81 and blocks with 90: each hit it takes is cut by 36 %.
