The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In 1921, he became the first African-American head coach in the National Football League.
- Pollard and Bobby Marshall were the first two African-American players in the NFL in 1920.
- He is also recognized as the first Black quarterback in NFL history, playing the position for the Hammond Pros in 1923.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Fritz Pollard article was read about 48,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 62 and blocks with 46: each hit it takes is cut by 18 %.
