Fishing, an Uncommon card
Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Fish are often caught as wildlife from the natural environment, but may also be caught from stocked bodies of water such as ponds, canals, park wetlands and reservoirs.

The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Fishing techniques include trawling, longlining, jigging, hand-gathering, spearing, netting, angling, shooting and trapping, as well as more destructive and often illegal techniques such as electrocution, blasting and poisoning.
- The term fishing is also used more broadly to include catching aquatic animals other than fish, such as crustaceans, shellfish, cephalopods and echinoderms.
- The term is not normally applied to harvesting fish raised in controlled cultivations.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Fishing article was read about 170,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 79 and blocks with 74: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
How to get Fishing
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
