The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- They have the general formula R−O−R′, where R and R′ represent the organyl groups.
- Ethers can again be classified into two varieties: if the organyl groups are the same on both sides of the oxygen atom, then it is a simple or symmetrical ether, whereas if they are different, the ethers are called mixed or unsymmetrical ethers.
- A typical example of the first group is the solvent and anaesthetic diethyl ether, commonly referred to simply as "ether".
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ether article was read about 180,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 64 and blocks with 54: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
How to get Ether
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
