The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Construction of the palace began shortly after the 1453 conquest and was completed in 1458.
- Historians of the period including Doukas and Michael Critobulus stated that it was completed in 1455.
- Evliya Çelebi stated in his Seyahatnâme that the construction of the palace began in 1454 on the site of an old church and that the palace was surrounded by a solid rectangular wall covered with a blue lead that had a perimeter of 12,000 arşın, approximately equivalent to 9 kilometres.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Eski Saray article was read about 30,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 47 and blocks with 12: each hit it takes is cut by 5 %.
