The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The ratio of the speed of a flow or object to that of sound is named the Mach number in his honor.
- As a philosopher of science, he was a major influence on logical positivism and American pragmatism.
- Through his criticism of Isaac Newton's theories of space and time, he foreshadowed Albert Einstein's theory of relativity.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ernst Mach article was read about 77,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 74 and blocks with 74: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
