The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Cixi was selected as a concubine of the Xianfeng Emperor in her adolescence and gave birth to his son, Zaichun, in 1856.
- After the Xianfeng Emperor's death in 1861, their son became the Tongzhi Emperor, and Cixi assumed the role of co-empress dowager alongside Xianfeng's widow, Empress Dowager Ci'an.
- She and Ci'an ousted a group of regents appointed by the late emperor and assumed the regency together.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Empress Dowager Cixi article was read about 510,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 87 and blocks with 86: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
