The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- She was noted for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing, timing, intonation, and a "horn-like" improvisational ability, particularly in her scat singing.
- After a tumultuous adolescence, Fitzgerald found stability in musical success with the Chick Webb Orchestra, performing across the country but most often associated with the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem.
- Her rendition of the nursery rhyme "A-Tisket, A-Tasket" helped boost both her and Webb to national fame.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ella Fitzgerald article was read about 550,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 80 and blocks with 95: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
