The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- They are known for their ability to stun their prey by generating electricity, delivering shocks at up to 860 volts.
- Their electrical capabilities were first studied in 1775, contributing to the invention of the electric battery in 1800.
- Despite their name, electric eels are not closely related to the true eels but are members of the electroreceptive knifefish order Gymnotiformes.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Electric eel article was read about 280,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 78 and blocks with 99: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
