The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The EF-hand motif contains a helix–loop–helix topology, much like the spread thumb and forefinger of the human hand, in which the Ca2+ ions are coordinated by ligands within the loop.
- The motif takes its name from traditional nomenclature used in describing the protein parvalbumin, which contains three such motifs and is probably involved in muscle relaxation via its calcium-binding activity.
- The EF-hand consists of two alpha helices linked by a short loop region that usually binds calcium ions.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The EF hand article was read about 5,600 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 62 and blocks with 38: each hit it takes is cut by 15 %.
How to get EF hand
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
