The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- His crimes, committed around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin, gathered widespread notoriety in 1957 after authorities discovered that he stole corpses from local graveyards and fashioned keepsakes from their bones and skin.
- He also confessed to killing two women: tavern owner Mary Hogan in 1954 and hardware store owner Bernice Worden in 1957.
- Gein was initially found unfit to stand trial and confined to a mental health facility.
Why it is Legendary
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ed Gein article was read about 31,000,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 76 and blocks with 89: each hit it takes is cut by 36 %.
