The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It treats the vibrations of the atomic lattice as phonons in a box in contrast to the Einstein solid model, which treats the solid as many individual, non-interacting quantum harmonic oscillators.
- The Debye model correctly predicts the low-temperature dependence of the heat capacity of solids, which is proportional to the cube of temperature – the Debye T 3 law.
- Similarly to the Einstein photoelectron model, it recovers the Dulong–Petit law at high temperatures.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Debye model article was read about 47,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 75 and blocks with 56: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
How to get Debye model
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
