The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- They are referred to as Polovtsians in Rus' chronicles, as "Cumans" in Western sources, and as "Kipchaks" in Eastern sources.
- Related to the Pechenegs, they inhabited a shifting area north of the Black Sea and along the Volga River known as Cumania, from which the Cuman–Kipchaks meddled in the politics of the Caucasus and the Khwarazmian Empire.
- The Cumans were fierce and formidable nomadic warriors of the Eurasian Steppe who exerted an enduring influence on the medieval Balkans.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Cumans article was read about 290,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 93 and blocks with 87: each hit it takes is cut by 35 %.
How to get Cumans
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
