The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Several different classifications of the family have been proposed, but in 2021 the International Ornithologists' Union adopted a consensus taxonomy of seven genera.
- The common names "cormorant" and "shag" have been assigned to different species in the family somewhat haphazardly.
- Cormorants and shags are medium-to-large birds, with body weight in the range of 0.35–5 kilograms and wing span of 60–100 centimetres.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Cormorant article was read about 300,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 78 and blocks with 67: each hit it takes is cut by 27 %.
