The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The former is characterised as having a cross hilt of forward-sloping quillons with quatrefoil terminations and was in use from the 15th to 17th centuries.
- The word claymore was first used in reference to basket-hilted swords during the 18th century in Scotland and parts of England.
- This description was maybe not used during the 17th century, when basket-hilted swords were the primary military swords across Europe, but these basket-hilted, broad-bladed swords remained in service with officers of Scottish regiments into the 21st century.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Claymore article was read about 170,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 60 and blocks with 40: each hit it takes is cut by 16 %.
How to get Claymore
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
