The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The term "circus" also describes the field of performance, training, and community which has followed various formats through its 250-year modern history.
- Although not the inventor of the medium, Newcastle-under-Lyme born Philip Astley is credited as the father of the modern circus.
- In 1768, Astley, a skilled equestrian, began performing exhibitions of trick horse riding in an open field called Ha'penny Hatch on the south side of the Thames River, England.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Circus article was read about 180,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 74 and blocks with 84: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
How to get Circus
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
