The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Originating in Guangdong, char siu and its variations are popular in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Japan.
- The dish usually consists of boneless pork shoulder marinated with a mixture of hoisin sauce, soy sauce, Chinese wine, and five-spice powder, and glazed with maltose or honey during the roasting process.
- Traditionally, the distinctive red colour was due to the use of red fermented bean curd and red yeast rice, however red food colouring is now commonly used.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Char siu article was read about 140,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 67 and blocks with 71: each hit it takes is cut by 28 %.
How to get Char siu
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
