- Invented by Lou Ottens and his team at the Dutch company Philips, the Compact Cassette was introduced in August 1963, and Philips freely licensed the patented format to other manufacturers from 1966.
- Cassette tapes come in two forms, either containing content as a pre-recorded cassette, or as a fully recordable "blank" cassette.
- Both forms have two sides and are reversible by the user.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Cassette tape article was read about 260,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 84 and blocks with 81: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
How to get Cassette tape
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
