The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The academy began in 1853 as a learned society and still carries out a large amount of original research.
- The institution is located in Golden Gate Park on the West Side of San Francisco.
- Completely rebuilt in 2008, the academy's primary building in Golden Gate Park covers 400,000 square feet.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The California Academy of Sciences article was read about 31,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 73 and blocks with 65: each hit it takes is cut by 26 %.
