The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He remains one of history's most well-known pirates.
- Little is known about Blackbeard's early life, but he may have been a sailor on privateering ships during Queen Anne's War before he settled on the Bahamian island of New Providence, a base for Captain Benjamin Hornigold, whose crew Teach joined around 1716.
- Hornigold placed him in command of a sloop that he had captured, and the two engaged in numerous acts of piracy.
Why it is Legendary
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Blackbeard article was read about 1,200,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 82 and blocks with 98: each hit it takes is cut by 39 %.
