The facts on the card

The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.

The name is a portmanteau of the words 'battle' and 'folklore'.
Many of Battlelore's lyrics concern J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth sagas.
Their stage costumes and live shows are inspired by the themes and characters of fantasy literature.

Why it is Common

Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Battlelore article was read about 6,800 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 69 and blocks with 60: each hit it takes is cut by 24 %.
