The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- For the Grand Alliance – Austria, England, and the Dutch Republic – the battle had followed an indecisive campaign against the Bourbon armies of King Louis XIV of France in 1705.
- Although the Allies had captured Barcelona that year, they had been forced to abandon their campaign on the Moselle, had stalled in the Spanish Netherlands and suffered defeat in northern Italy.
- Yet despite his opponents' setbacks Louis XIV wanted peace, but on reasonable terms.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Battle of Ramillies article was read about 55,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 79 and blocks with 98: each hit it takes is cut by 39 %.
