The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Mysticeti comprises the families Balaenidae, Balaenopteridae, Eschrichtiidae and Cetotheriidae.
- There are 16 species of baleen whales.
- While cetaceans were historically thought to have descended from mesonychians, molecular evidence instead supports them as a clade of even-toed ungulates.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Baleen whale article was read about 210,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 88 and blocks with 94: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
