The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In the asteroid population, B-class objects can be found in the outer asteroid belt, and also dominate the high-inclination Pallas family, which includes the third-largest asteroid 2 Pallas.
- They are thought to be primitive, volatile-rich remnants from the early Solar System.
- There are 65 known B-type asteroids in the SMASS classification, and 9 in the Tholen classification as of March 2015.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The B-type asteroid article was read about 4,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 48 and blocks with 22: each hit it takes is cut by 9 %.
