The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It and the Sonderkommando photographs are among the small number of visual documents that show the operations of Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the German extermination camp in occupied Poland.
- Originally titled "Resettlement of the Jews from Hungary", it shows a period when the Nazis accelerated their deportation of Hungarian Jews to Auschwitz.
- The images were taken by photographers from the camp's Erkennungsdienst.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Auschwitz Album article was read about 46,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 52 and blocks with 35: each hit it takes is cut by 14 %.
