The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The city lies on the banks of the Ishim river in the north of Kazakhstan and is located within the Akmola Region but is self-administering.
- Initially founded as Aqmoly in 1830, the city was later renamed Akmolinsk, Tselinograd, and Aqmola before adopting the name Astana in 1998, or "capital" in Kazakh.
- In 2019, the city adopted the name Nur-Sultan in honor of former president Nursultan Nazarbayev, but it reverted to the name Astana in 2022.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Astana article was read about 480,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 85 and blocks with 80: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
How to get Astana
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
