The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The discipline was named by Christopher Langton, an American computer scientist, in 1986.
- In 1987, Langton organized the first conference on the field, in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
- There are three main kinds of artificial life, named for their approaches: soft, from software, hard, from hardware, and wet, from biochemistry.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Artificial life article was read about 49,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 66 and blocks with 58: each hit it takes is cut by 23 %.
