The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It gives an account of the expedition of the Ten Thousand, an army of Greek mercenaries hired by Cyrus the Younger to help him seize the throne of Persia from his brother, Artaxerxes II, in 401 BC.
- The seven books making up the Anabasis were composed c. 370 BC.
- Although as an Ancient Greek vocabulary word meaning 'embarkation', 'ascent' or 'mounting up', the title Anabasis has been rendered by some translators as The March Up Country or as The March of the Ten Thousand.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Anabasis article was read about 170,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 68 and blocks with 55: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
How to get Anabasis
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
