The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Burlesque became popular in the United States in the late 1860s and slowly evolved to feature ribald comedy and female nudity.
- By the late 1920s, the striptease element overshadowed the comedy and subjected burlesque to extensive local legislation.
- Burlesque gradually lost its popularity, beginning in the 1940s.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The American burlesque article was read about 120,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 72 and blocks with 71: each hit it takes is cut by 28 %.
