The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He is the earliest representative of the Alexandrian canon of the Nine Lyric Poets.
- He wrote six books of choral poetry, most of which is now lost, his poetry survives in quotation from other ancient authors and on fragmentary papyri discovered in Egypt.
- His poetry was composed in the local Doric dialect with Homeric influences.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Alcman article was read about 16,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 66 and blocks with 55: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
