The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Medusa is generally described as a woman with living snakes in place of hair, her appearance was so hideous that anyone who looked upon her was turned to stone.
- Medusa and her Gorgon sisters Euryale and Stheno were usually described as daughters of Phorcys and Ceto, of the three, only Medusa was mortal.
- Medusa was beheaded by the Greek hero Perseus, who then used her head, which retained its ability to turn onlookers to stone, as a weapon until he gave it to the goddess Athena to place on her shield.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Medusa article was read about 890,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 75 and blocks with 76: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
