The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Possibly originating from beyond the Black Sea, they settled in north-central Anatolia in the early 2nd millennium BC.
- There they formed a series of polities, including the kingdom of Kussara, the Kanesh or Neša, and an empire centered on their capital, Hattusa.
- Known in modern times as the Hittite Empire, it reached its peak during the mid-14th century BC under Šuppiluliuma I, when it encompassed most of Anatolia and parts of northern Syria and Upper Mesopotamia, bordering the rival empires of the Hurri-Mitanni and Assyrians.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Hittites article was read about 560,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 88 and blocks with 93: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
