The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It shares official status with Spanish in three autonomous communities in eastern Spain – Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and the Valencian Community, where it is called Valencian – and is the sole official language of Andorra.
- Catalan also has semi-official status in Alghero, an Italian municipality in Sardinia, and is spoken in the Pyrénées-Orientales department of France and in two further areas in eastern Spain: the eastern strip of Aragon and the Carche area in the Region of Murcia.
- The Catalan-speaking regions are often called the Catalan Countries.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Catalan language article was read about 540,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 92 and blocks with 76: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
