The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The Ashkenazim emerged from the Jewish communities that consolidated during the 10th century in the Rhineland and in northern France, having migrated there from centers such as the Italian Peninsula and the Southern Levant.
- After numerous massacres of Jews during the Crusades, they began a gradual eastward migration due to mounting restrictions within the Holy Roman Empire and the favorable policies of Casimir III the Great of Poland and others.
- This migration ramped up after the persecution of Jews during the Black Death during the 14th century, such that by the 16th century, the bulk of the Ashkenazi Jews had migrated to the Kingdom of Poland, which includes modern Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, and parts of Russia.
Why it is Legendary
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ashkenazi Jews article was read about 1,600,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 93 and blocks with 86: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
