The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- After defeating Artabanus IV, the last King of Kings of Parthia, on the Hormozdgan plain in 224, he overthrew the Arsacid dynasty and established the Sasanian dynasty.
- Afterwards, Ardashir called himself King of Kings and began conquering the land that he called Ērānšahr, the realm of the Iranians.
- Ardashir I founded an empire described by scholars as the “Second Persian Empire” or the “Neo-Persian Empire.” There are various historical reports about Ardashir's lineage and ancestry.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ardashir I article was read about 97,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 85 and blocks with 93: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
