The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- When viewed as a single continent, the Americas are the second largest continent by area after Asia and the third largest continent by population.
- The Americas make up most of the land in Earth's Western Hemisphere and constitute the "New World", in contrast to the "Old World" of Afro-Eurasia.
- Along with their associated islands, the Americas cover 8% of Earth's total surface area and 28.4% of its land area.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Americas article was read about 830,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 92 and blocks with 85: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
How to get Americas
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
