The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Ames was responsible for the arrest and eventual execution of numerous Soviet and Russian officials secretly working on behalf of the United States Intelligence Community.
- He served a life sentence, without the possibility of parole, in various federal prisons until his death in 2026 at the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland.
- He had compromised more highly classified CIA assets than any other intelligence officer until the arrest of FBI agent Robert Hanssen in 2001.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Aldrich Ames article was read about 720,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 77 and blocks with 83: each hit it takes is cut by 33 %.
