- The Akan speak languages within the Tano branch of the Niger–Congo family.
- Subgroups of the Akan people include: the Adanse, Agona, Akuapem, Akwamu, Akyem, Anyi, Asante, Baoulé, Bono, Chakosi, Fante, Kwahu, Sefwi, Wassa, Ahanta, Denkyira and Nzema, among others.
- The Akan subgroups all have cultural attributes in common, most notably the tracing of royal matrilineal descent in the inheritance of property, and for succession to high political office.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Akan people article was read about 190,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 82 and blocks with 99: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
How to get Akan people
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
